The financier acquired a smaller island - the Little St James - back in the late 1990s, but later purchased the larger Great St James in the year 2016 for around $22.5 million.
The released images indicate he had drawn up development schemes to develop the 161-acre island by building residences, an amphitheatre, an office beneath the waves and a pool.
You can see the drawing is a channel, a marine passage in the US Virgin Islands, noted on the lower right-hand corner.
